Turquoise Story I: As yellow and blue make green and green and blue make turquoise, the sunlight powers my inspiration. Sunlight and paint make art come to life in lines, circles and brushstrokes on the canvas.
Turquoise Story II: The colour turquoise can veer towards blue and then back to green in a subtle movement that reveals its origins in two of the primary colours. The dance between blue and yellow create so many new colours to express on canvas. The brush dances this way and you see blue, it sweeps the other way and you see yellow.
Turquoise Story III: I’m fascinated by the interplay between turquoise, blue and yellow and with watching the shapes appear beneath my brush. Like the light reflects off liquid surfaces, my paint is shiny with refracting highlights.
